The exhibition will feature large-scale appliquéd portraiture as well as miniature cross-stitch studies that investigate the ironic relationships between American morality and the media. This body of work continues both Johnson and Farris’ individual dialogs concerning cultural ideologies while uniting the two under the genre of domestic craft.
